Swim. If you can find some salt water to refresh the motion we were born to. From birth canal we swim outward, baptized by the salt and water, blood and toil flowing through our lineage.

It’s a serious thing, ridding the muscle memory of the flex which brought it down. If you have a chance, talk to it. Ask it what it needs, what it wants to no longer remember or carry with it. If you can’t get to the sea? Rub healing salts onto it and let them melt into your skin through the shower. The break holds resonance from stagnation. Salt draws. Kinesiology is a real art. We can bestow it upon ourselves. Enough. Lee is right. Let it tell you how to release its burden.

I have been working with mine. I carry doubt in my feet. They told me so. You will learn something else. Then you will know what to do. 💫

Truly beautiful in so many ways. I had surgery a couple of weeks ago. I am fine but require time to rest & heal. What I got was to land home from hospital and promptly get a nasty extremely virulent flu strain that has been decimating everyone this winter followed by a chest infection. So yes, yes I have been resting. And sleeping. And resting. And sleeping. All those quiet contemplative things I was going to do went straight out the window. No low key working quietly from my bed propped up on cushions. I couldn’t read more than five words at a time. My head has pounded for 16 days straight and my energy levels have hit a new high of floor level.

So the real question is who is laughing now? Well yes God I hear you and you can rest assured, I AM resting!!

My crankiness has been particularly of note. Just ask my man. He has seen a few sights of a less than tolerant & kind wife. How humbling to realise that I am indeed quite human after all.

Continue to take care, enjoy those moments where you can exercise choice & control. May your body keep healing herself together in beautiful and magical ways.

🧡

Tiffany, wow, I can so relate. But...let me say that having the flu is no easy thing...at least I could just sit with my cast and read or write or think! We are so harsh on ourselves. I hope you are doing better, but then, ha!, what is better? I'm actually starting to get pretty good at this. Napping every day! This is the best possible sign. thanks so much for your note here!

What a great message from Lee to you! And thanks for sharing his message to you with all of us. I needed to read the memo today (and just about every day!)

… and how do we learn to be leisurely? To paint and write and tend the garden. How do we receive “you’ve done enough”?

As Santa Zita says “ work is prayer,” I will add that healing as well is prayer. Salute da Genovina.

Genevieve, first…. I think you have the most beautiful name. Thank you for this. I fully experience that when I work in my home. Now I will think about how healing is also prayer. Beautiful.
